Your team has different jobs. Their training should too.
Most retail software training hands everyone the same course list and calls it onboarding. HomeSource Learning Paths work differently, delivering role-specific training through the LMS so each employee follows a path built around what they actually do. Sales staff learn to sell. Inventory managers learn to count. No wasted courses. No irrelevant material.

Role-Based Paths
Each employee follows a curated sequence of courses built around their specific role, not a generic list pulled from the full catalog.
Progress Tracking
Completion is tracked at every step so managers can see where their team stands, identify gaps early, and confirm readiness before employees work live in the system.
Full Catalog Access
The path covers what a role requires. The complete course library (500+ articles across 20 modules) stays open for anyone who wants to go further.
A path for every role in your store.
Each Learning Path maps directly to the modules and workflows that role uses every day.

Sales Staff
Covers quoting, order management, payment processing, invoicing, extended service contracts, customer leads, and HomeSource Conversations, covering every workflow from first contact to closed sale.
Inventory Manager
Built for the people responsible for product accuracy. Includes model and serial inventory management, physical inventory runs, purchase orders, transfer requests, product receiving, and PocketScan, covering the full workflow for keeping stock data clean across locations.
Finance & Accounting
Covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, aging reports, 1099 reporting, and end-of-year closing: the full scope of the financial modules.
Service Coordinator
Covers service request creation, technician assignment, warranty tracking, trip management, service invoicing, and delivery scheduling: the workflows behind every service call and installation.
Store Manager / Owner
Designed for whoever is accountable for how the whole operation runs. Includes HomeSource Gatekeeper dashboards, all-location reporting, user management, permission controls, and system-level settings.
System Administrator
Covers user account setup, permission assignment, role configuration, POS settings, location settings, and security controls: the path for the person who keeps the system configured correctly.
How Learning Paths work.
Three steps from assignment to confident daily use.

Assign the Path
Your system administrator assigns the appropriate Learning Path based on each employee's role. Employees with responsibilities across multiple areas can be enrolled in more than one path at the same time. Shared courses aren't repeated between overlapping paths.
Learn in Sequence
Employees work through video courses and quizzes covering the modules and workflows specific to their responsibilities. Each course builds on what came before it, so the progression from foundational to more advanced is built in.
Track Progress
Completion is tracked at the course and path level. Managers can see exactly where each employee stands, identify gaps before they become problems, and confirm the team is prepared before anyone is working live in the system.
The path is the starting point, not the ceiling.
Assigning a Learning Path doesn't restrict what employees can access. Every employee retains full access to the complete course library (500+ articles across 20 system modules) at any time. The path covers what their role requires on day one. The catalog is always there when they want to go further.
