Each year, NECO brings together retailers, partners, and buying groups that shape this industry. The 2025 expo gave us another great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue supporting retailers through the technology and tools that are core to our mission.
Throughout the event, we had the chance to connect with retailers from across the NECO chapter and strengthen our partnerships with all four buying groups—NEAG, Intercounty, DMI, and ADC. These in-person conversations reinforced just how important visibility and accessibility are to the systems we provide.
A Commitment That Runs Deep
Collaborating with each NECO buying group plays a vital role in how we show up for retailers and grow alongside them.
At HomeSource, our mission has always been clear: empowering retailers to succeed through technology and data. That mission is rooted in accessibility and alignment, which is why being the only software partner working with every major NECO group isn’t just important—it’s essential.
This year’s expo gave us more than a chance to show what our platform can do. It gave us space to listen, ask deeper questions, and provide non-committal demos of our systems in real time so retailers could explore our tools in a way that fit their business needs.
“It was great to sit down with dealers one-on-one and really dig into what’s working and what’s missing. These conversations gave us both clarity.” – Sara Grassi, Sales Account Executive
Bringing the Platform to Life
One of the best parts of the weekend was giving retailers the ability to dive into the specific systems and tools they wanted to see—live and in action. From full Complete Business Management System (CBMS) overviews to deep dives into Gatekeeper, HomeSource Pay, and our Digital Marketing services, our team offered hands-on demos tailored to each retailer’s focus. Whether it was solving a specific challenge or just getting a closer look at what’s possible, we were proud to showcase the platform in a real and approachable way.
“Some retailers wanted to focus on payments, others asked to walk through inventory or marketing—we let them lead the demo and showed how it all connects.” – Austin Winterele, Sales Account Executive
Building Momentum for What’s Next: Nexus 2026
Throughout the show, we also had the opportunity to introduce many attendees to something brand new—Nexus, our first-ever HomeSource user conference, coming in Spring 2026.
While we didn’t dive deep into the details just yet, we did share what matters most: if NECO was valuable, if seeing systems in action and meeting our team helped clarify the road ahead, then Nexus will take that experience even further. More hands-on time, more access to our team, and more space to connect with other retailers using the HomeSource platform.
We’ll be sharing full details in the months ahead, but the early excitement and interest were energizing.
“If NECO gave you value, Nexus will double it. It’s everything dealers liked about the show—but fully focused on HomeSource.” – Gary Press, Sales Manager
Thank You to the NECO Community
To every retailer who stopped by, to every partner who made time for a meeting, and to the entire NECO chapter—thank you!
This year’s expo reminded us just how important visibility, access, and relationships are in this industry. We’re proud to work alongside each of the NECO buying groups and even more proud to support the retailers they serve.
We’re taking the momentum from NECO into 2026 with a clear focus: helping retailers grow smarter through stronger partnerships and better technology.
